A Quilt for Sam; project 3

I have been sewing a quilt for my newest grandson, Samuel, who is seven weeks old.  His big sister, Evie, has a similar quilt, but bound in pink so she doesn't get mixed up.  Sam's is bound in turquoise.  I gave them the quilts, (well Evie unwrapped both parcels), tonight, and Evie immediately spread hers out on the carpet and wanted a picnic on it.  She loves the quilts.
I am so glad to have finished Sam's quilt, as the binding fabric was very hard to sew, and my fingers are sore.  But it is so worthwhile.
