Moodling
This commitment to creating something every week has energised me. I feel inspired to make things using what I already have, or am given. Jill has been very generous with her stash of goodies, (why is another person's stash so much more interesting than ones own?). She has given me some luscious bits of trims, buttons and fabric. But the thing I value most is her enthusiasm and encouragement. Hence I find myself committing to several stalls, vintage in theme. This, I have discovered, is where my heart lies at the moment; vintage and upcycling. (So much for all the fabric stashed away in my cupboards!).
Recycled fabric.
I have enjoyed making these pouches from old shirts and blouses. I have made suffolk puffs and some English hexagons tom embellish the pouches, but prefer the ones with buttons and ricrac braid. I have worked really hard to make these this week, but am glad to be building up things for my vintage stall.

Celebrating Yorkshire Day
1st August.
Today I have been making bunting for my Vintage stall, which is on 18th August in Wakefield.
I used some old shirting and a bit of vintage fabric, joined together with some cotton tape.
As today has been the hottest day in the year so far, (31 degrees), it was rather warm work. I am glad I started and finished the project in one day.
